Targus Mobile Laptop Charger Review

OVERVIEW: Targus is really friendly to the business and leisure travelers with their Mobile Laptop Charger. This charger splits in two so you may power up two devices at once. Not only can you charge two at one time, Targus gives you tons of different (eight for laptops and one mini-USB) tips that go on the end. This allows you to customize this charger and always have a way to charge your devices. Then, if that wasn't enough the Mobile Laptop Charger also comes with the Tips from Targus Program which supplies users with free tips for your 2nd laptop and/or cell phone and free tips for future laptops and cell phones so the charger remains compatible with your devices. Of course, shipping and handling fees apply. DESIGN: I think the sexiest part of this charger is the rectangular box right before the cord splits. Not sure why, but it is very sleek and actually worked well in my car (2009 Subaru Legacy). The cable is a little long but a twist tie will manage that excess. HOW DOES I...

Macally DualStand2 and PenCase2 iPad2 Case Reviews

Perhaps the hottest – and certainly the coolest – new gadget is Apple’s outstanding iPad. It’s a book, a magazine, an iPod, a game console, a computer and much, much more al rolled into a lightweight 10-inch tall package. The first iPad, released in April 2010, blew everyone away; iPad2 was launched Mar. 11 of this year took it to the next level. iPad2 also put a kink in the accessory market. Products made for iPad1 don’t necessarily work with the newer, thinner model, particularly cases – both protective and decorative. Macally has long been synonymous with Apple products, and has been a clear leader in creating, producing and offering quality, reasonably priced Mac and Apple product accessories. I have owned and used a number of their products in the past, so there was a level of expectation when they agreed to let me test a couple of their new protective covers for the new iPad2. I gave both the Case With Stand and the Flexible Case With Stylus Pen (both $29.99 through M...

BlueAnt Pump 2 Wireless HD Sportbuds Review

Look and Feel: At a glance, these Bluetooth sport earbuds appear a bit bulky in comparison to the typical wired earbud. The reasoning behind this extra bulk is pretty clear when you realize they boast a fairly long lasting battery along with the Bluetooth capability. Upon trying out these buds for the first time, I experienced a little bit of discomfort after only a half hour of use and had to spend time with one side out of my ear at a time. This problem seems to have gone away completely, since the next 10+ times I used the headphones, there was no noticeable discomfort throughout hours of usage, with a specific 2.5 hr length wearing them a majority of the time while being quite active. These headphones are intelligently made in the look and feel department, and do not feel bulky, like the initial thought I had opening the package. Audio Quality: Upon testing these headphones, I was please to find the overall quality of the music coming out was above expectation I had f...

Beats Studio³ Wireless Headphones Review

Everyone knows we like the sound that Beats creates. Strong bass and mids, they could always use a little more highs but it is a satisfying sound. The APEX of the product line is the Studio3 Wireless. Join us as we hit the peak after trying the Powerbeats Pros, Solos Wireless and Pill+. Great noise canceling and amazing battery life highlight the Studio³ Wireless' features. Follow that with a great design and style and you have one of the most iconic headphones of our lifetime. Seven color options including camo, black, red with silver trim, white and gold and The Skyline Collection offer just enough customization for the user. We tried the white and gold look. Because Beats is an Apple product and the Studio³s come with a W1 chip, out of the box pairing was a breeze. Turn them on and the nearest device with Bluetooth (in this case my iPhone X) was looking to make a connection. Connecting to an Apple laptop and desktop was as easy as any other connection with a computer, although t...

Lenovo Eco Pro Backpack Review

Tech backpacks often have issues balancing form and function. Lenovo's Eco Pro does that and even throws another ball in the air to juggle, environmentally friendly. We love our Eco Pro backpack! Launched this past Earth Day, Lenovo decided it would add sustainability to the list of things it does well with the Eco Pro backpack. The Eco Pro is made of 83% recycled content including an amazing 34 recycled water bottles PER bag. I don't really equate backpacks as harmful to the environment, but plastic is plastic and if we can reuse that many bottles in a backpack, I'm in! Now close your eyes and think what a backpack made almost entirely of recycled materials including 34 water bottles would look like. Probably bulky, ugly or like something you pretended with as a kid. Open your eyes. This backpack made me get rid of a few of my favorites in the house because it was so sleek, stylish and lightweight. I was blown away when I opened the box from Lenovo, this can't be it....

Jabra Elite 75t Headphones Review

Jabra has been making a splash in the truly wireless headphones world for a couple years now. This is the Elite 75t, the company’s latest and greatest set of in-ear buds. These are more than comfy gym earbuds, they are great for all-around use too. The "best fit yet" claim from Jabra is no joke. With three sizes of ear tips in the box, you will find a great snug yet comfortable fit for your ears. They are also lighter and 20% smaller than the predecessor, Elite 65ts. The Jabra Elite 75t are some of the most comfortable in-ear headphones we’ve worn in some time. We would easily wear them for three-four hours or so with no issue. Because they are so small, the biggest issue we saw was putting them in and out and the prominence of the buttons. We would tend to accidentally press the buttons on the earbuds because they’re so small. As we got used to it, it became no problem at all. We never experienced a connection drop in the time we tested. The only time we would have connec...
